Yet there is good reason why French is taught in Dutch schools. French is spoken all over the world, not least in our neighbouring countries, which are important trading partners. French is the language of tourism, fashion, international cuisine, architecture and culture. It is also spoken at the world’s leading international organisations, including the European Union, the United Nations, the International Red Cross and UNESCO. In short: a good command of French is valuable and opens many doors.

Many secondary school students have a love-hate relationship with this remarkable language. Conversation lessons

Then conversation lessons are a fun and practical way to communicate more easily with French speakers. I have extensive experience teaching conversation lessons, both one-on-one and in groups. Unique to Parbleu taalhulp is the ‘conversade’ — a ‘conversation’ during a ‘promenade’ (a walk).

If you live in Hoofddorp, Haarlem or the surrounding area, lessons can take place in your own environment or at my location in Zwaanshoek. If you live further away, online lessons via Google Meet or Teams are an excellent alternative.
